Installation
Today Plugin Interface
This is the izen QuickAccess Today main screen that will be shown on the Today screen after installation. If the Today plugin is not show, please refer to Enabling and Disabling the today plugin section to enable the plugin.
Details of the Main Screen
Appointments Indicator (or Icon) - This is the indicator for your current or next upcoming appointments within the pre-specified duration. If the appointments indicator is highlighted yellow, this indicates that you have an on going appointment. If the highlight is more intense, it means that you have at least two on going appointments at at the time of view. Tapping or clicking the action button on the Appointments Indicator will bring up the Calendar based on the configured settings. Please refer to Settings section for more details. Tasks Indicator - This is the indicator for your current or next upcoming tasks within the pre-specified duration. If the tasks has no start date and due date, the task is always shown. If the task has a due date but no start date, it will only be shown if the due date is within the pre-specified duration of the current date. If the task has a due date and start date, the task will be shown when the start date falls within the pre-specified duration of the current date. Tapping or clicking the action button on the Appointments Indicator will bring up the Calendar based on the configured settings. Please refer to Settings section for more details. Time & Date - The current date and time is shown. Format of the Date is fixed. However, format of the Time is based on the Regional Settings. Therefore AM/PM is shown if time format is set to 12 hours format. Tapping or clicking the action button on the Date & Time will bring up the clock settings. Alarm Indicator - Indicates that there is alarm is currently set. Unread Emails - Indicates number of unread ActiveSync email or any other email accounts created in the Pocket Outlook. Tapping on the Unread Emails indicator will bring up Pocket Outlook in the Outlook E-mail folder. Unread SMS & MMS - Indicates the number of unread SMS & MMS. If there is one (1) unread SMS and one (1) unread MMS, the indicator will show two (2). Tapping on the Unread SMS & MMS indicator will bring up Pocket Outlook in either SMS or MMS folder based on the following rules. If there is no SMS and MMS, the SMS folder is shown. If there is SMS and no MMS, the SMS folder is shown. If there is SMS and MMS, the SMS folder is shown. If there is no SMS and has MMS, the MMS folder is shown. In short, the MMS folder is only shown if there is no SMS. Missed Call - Indicates the number of missed call that has not been reviewed by the user. Tapping on the missed call button will bring up the missed call window. Battery Indicator - Indicates the current battery status Internal Storage Indicator - Indicates the total internal storage left. Memory Indicator - Indicates the total memory left. Storage Card 1 Indicator - Indicates the total storage left in Storage Card 1. Storage Card 2 if available is not shown.
Tap and hold to bring up the context menu. Currently, the only available options is Options which will bring up the options menu for izen QuickAccess Today. This menu can also be access through the settings control panel as described in Settings section.
Details of the Preview Screen
Appointment Preview Screen
When preview window for appointments option is enabled (default), a window will popup to show the details of your appointments when navigating or clicking on the Appointments Icon. Up to 100 appointments can be shown at a time. First appointment - Your first appointment is shown here. It can either be the current appointment or a future appointment. If it is highlighted yellow, it is currently ongoing. Second appointment & Third appointment - The next appointment after the first. Time to appointment - The time remaining before the appointment starts Appointment start time & end time - Shows what time the appointment starts and ends. If the appointment is multiday, the end time is shown but not the date. Appointment date - Shows the date that the appointment occurs
Tasks Preview Screen
When preview window for tasks option is enabled (default), a window will popup to show the details of your tasks when navigating or clicking on the Tasks Icon. Up to 100 tasks can be shown at a time. First Task to Fourth Tasks - All the upcoming tasks within the pre-specified duration are shown. Task days to due date - Shows the number of days to due date. e.g. '5 d' means 5 days lefts to due date. If there is an exclamation mark, it means that the task is either Due Today or already due by the number of days. e.g. '!2 d' means task is due 2 days ago. Task subject - The subject of the task
SettingsConfiguration is located at Start->Settings->Personal->QuickAccess Today. Alternatively, you can tap and hold the QuickAccess Today plugin and select options. Appointments Settings
Selectable preview window (D-Pad) - When checked, appointment preview window is selectable and scrollable with the D-Pad. Even when unchecked, preview window is still scrollable with touch screen. Duration of appointments to show - The duration filter for appointments. If 3 weeks is selected, only upcoming appointments within 3 weeks are shown. Available options are:
Tap appointment icon to - Specifies what action to perfom when appointment icon is tapped or pressed with action button (D-Pad).
Tap preview item to - Specifies what action to perform when an item in the appointment preview window is tapped.
Tasks Settings
Selectable preview window (D-Pad) - When checked, task preview window is selectable and scrollable with the D-Pad. Even when unchecked, preview window is still scrollable with touch screen. Show completed tasks - When checked, task preview will show completed task. Task Icon Indicator however, shows only the remaining tasks. Show overdue tasks - When checked, task preview will show overdue tasks. Task Icon indicator includes overdue tasks. Warn when marking completion - When checked, a message box will popup to confirm marking a task as complete or uncomplete. Duration of tasks to show - The duration filter for tasks. If 3 weeks is selected, only upcoming tasks within 3 weeks are shown. Tasks without due date are always sown. Available options are:
Tap tasks icon to - Specifies what action to perfom when appointment icon is tapped or pressed with action button (D-Pad).
Tap preview item to - Specifies what action to perform when an item in the task preview window is tapped.
